Profile Information

What's your favorite puzzle and why?
I love the looks of the "Kimono" My House one-I love the detail.
Which Puzzles Do You Own?
I have "Wading For You", "Soup-er Bowl", "We Come in Piece"," a couple clown car prototypes,a Christmas prototype, "Hard Act to Follow", and"Something's Fishy". These are all my designs and are all "in process" puzzles. It's so exciting to see my artwork manifested into a puzzle form. I treasure them. Hopefully I will be able to purchase a few of the other puzzles that really catch my eye designed by other artists.
Meet other Puzzle Nuts near you by telling us what town and state you're in.
Bridgton,Maine
Which puzzles are on your wish list?
I've seen so many-I can't list them all. I think one would be the infamous April Fool's Day one-5 Easy Pieces.
When and where do you puzzle?
Mostly at home, when the cat messes up an already put together puzzle on my dining room table.
What got you into Stave Puzzles?
I'd heard a lot about them at a previous job, and now I know them first hand!!!
Tips for solving Stave Puzzles: Want to share?
My method lately is pure "trial and error". I pick up one piece at a time and go through the whole pile trying to fit one nubby. It's usually the very last one!
About me: Interests, fave books and music etc
I'm an artist primarily, but I love music-especially Loreena McKennit and Enya,Donovan, lots of others. I read a lot. I try to walk every day for exercise. I enjoy life very much.

Hi Cheryl, I love your icon and checked out your link to your artwork. I'm a big fan of the Kaleidoscope affect. It reminds me of a favorite fabric artist Paula Nadelstern who creates amazing quilts with this look. Check out her gallery: http://www.paulanadelstern.com/quilt-gallery/index.html

Hi Cheryl, Tell your husband not to be embarrassed! We'll sing for any purpose whatsoever! All you have to do is say something that reminds us of a song we know and we break out with the lyrics!!! Not always good, but we don't care.

It is a fun place to work - really great people. I'm glad you had the opportunity to visit us and we have the opportunity of using your fantastic designs.

Come see us again soon! Paula

Hi sometimes I work late at night -- more often I'm puzzling along late at night. re: your work, on the mixed medial pieces, the one I sent inquiries on through your gallery site, what's the media? pen and watercolor? gouache? Take care, June

Hi Cheryl. I just went through the gallery of your work on your website. I really like it. Feel free to share any of those works but putting them into the Photo Library on StavePuzzleNuts, in particular, the Gingerbread pieces that became puzzles. There are likely to be fellow Nuts who would buy them! You can insert links to the sell pages on your site as captions for the photos. If the spirit moves you to blog every now and then about your inspiration for puzzles designs, I think all the Nuts would find your thoughts interesting. So glad you joined StavePuzzleNuts.com.....And I really like the icon you made from quoting one of your pieces. --The Alien Ball piece is very funny! Kimono My House is a treat visually...I love all the geishas!!! Best, june
