Custom puzzle design

As a digital artist at Stave I most enjoy creating custom artwork for our client's puzzles. These projects can start with a few photos or a ton of them. It is fun looking over all the photos and blending them together into a collage or other form of custom art.
There is usually quite a bit of discussion and planning with the crafter, graphic designer, and customer to conceptualize the puzzle design and personalization. Then the magic happens..........the artwork is created and the puzzle is cut.… Continue

Thanks, Cindy. I'm a quilting newbie but have sewn for many years. I can't get over how many quilters share common interests! Yes, I did make the quilt from a Jinny Beyer kit, I just love her fabrics. Quilting seems like another form of puzzling, with color & construction challenges, plus gorgeous fabrics. I do look forward to learning more about Stave puzzles, I thoroughly enjoyed assembling my first two Teasers last week.

Thanks for the support,Cindy. I WILL check out that site on quilts-might give me some more ideas! I'm glad you liked my gallery site. I love circular mandala images. My favorite is the double helix-like DNA. Someday I'm going to do a masterpiece with that image as the subject.
Back to work,Cheryl

Ruth, it would be fantastic for you to blog. I'm adding an entry in the profile questions for people to say whether they've crafted puzzles and to name the ones they have. Please consider filling it in. You get to it by Clicking on "My Profile Settings" a link that is the first box atop the right column of this page. When you land on My Settings, Click "My Profile" and you see the question in there! Hope you fill it out. Looking forward to reading your blog!

Hi Cindy,
Thanks for your e-mail. I did enoy Turtle Soup and it was such a beautiful puzzle, as well. I have tried both teasers and tricks and prefer the teasers. I have about 15 puzzles after starting in May. I think I am going to start the Time Share program in November....enjoy your puzzling.
