Which Puzzles Do You Own?
I'm now the proud owner of Peaceable Kingdom, thanks to the "Match the Piece" game!
Meet other Puzzle Nuts near you by telling us what town and state you're in.
Syracuse, New York
Which puzzles are on your wish list?
Too many to list. . .
When and where do you puzzle?
I puzzle all the time, but I'm more active in the winter, and I mostly puzzle inside my house.
What got you into Stave Puzzles?
I used to live in Norwich, Vermont (from 1997-2000), where Stave is, and I had two friends who used to work there---I toured the puzzle factory twice and was just astonished by what I saw. I have always loved jigsaw puzzles, in general, and ever since I found out about Stave I've wished for one of their puzzles. Now I can finally say (as of June, 2008) that I own my first Stave puzzle!
Tips for solving Stave Puzzles: Want to share?
I'll be happy to share any tips I have once I receive my puzzle in the mail and begin work on it!
About me: Interests, fave books and music etc
I'm a poet and my partner is a composer---I love books of poetry, and I'm a classical music fan. My first chapbook of poems is being published this July by Turtle Ink Press---please contact me if you're interested in purchasing a copy!

Hi Elizabeth. I gotta tell ya: Your contest entries for the bull puzzle crack me up. Alas, I'm not a judge. Just wanted to say "thanks for the giggles." june

Hi Elizabeth! I'm a composer too, but nothing very serious. Little jingles and things for radio and TV. I hire in session musicians for the various gigs I do. For that particular session we recorded the orchestra in sections, so brass & percussion in the morning, winds in the afternoon, and then the strings in the evening (which was when the photo was taken). The end result was fun, news themes with full orchestra plus drums and lots of electric guitars.

Congratulations on your first Stave. I've bought a couple of puzzles, but am waiting for them to arrive, so I haven't actually puzzled any Staves yet. I'm a bit worried that they'll be too difficult when they arrive! We'll see...

Congratulations and great playing Elizabeth. I truly am glad to see that you did indeed win your first Stave puzzle. I promise that immediately after hitting the Add Comment button I shall rise from my chair and bow in the general direction of N.Y.. I'll even throw in a golf clap :)

Congratulations once again and Enjoy the day!

Hi Elizabeth

Funny that you sent me a message today because while I was at work earlier today I was thinking that I should send you one. Partly to curse you for continuously pulling ahead and partly to congratulate you for playing so well. (now that you've added another second to your lead I'm back to cursing you) This round is frustratingly tough I think. Don't think that I'm conceding yet though. I'm still gunning for you. (I wonder what happens in case of a tie) But it looks like I'll be playing second fiddle again. (if I can even keep that) Best of luck and thanks for the kind words.

Enjoy the Day

Joe L.

p.s. I hope you know that the cursing is done in jest. Besides I'm cursing Steve way more for creating this infuriating game.

Hi Erik---thanks so much for your thoughtfulness and suggestion! That's so nice. I might just look into that if I can't win one! I can hardly wait to own one of these beautiful puzzles, and to work on one. Hopefully soon I can officially join the Stave club!

Thanks and happy puzzling --Elizabeth
