If you have a bird feeder, attach a cup for meal worms. The wrens will never leave. (although they might still nest elsewhere.) It's funny to watch them try and pick up as many as they can carry in their beak at one time.

Did you know? The male wren will start a number of nests, show the female each of them, she'll picks the location she likes best and they complete it together. She probably wanted a different view this season.

There is one singing outside my window as I type this :) Enjoy The Day!

Hi Janis. Love the Carolina Wren video clip. We always have them nesting in our yard. Great fun to watch them raising their youngins.

Hi Janis. Welcome to www.stavepuzzlenuts.com. Your portrait icon is very cool. Please consider filling out your profile a little more so that other Nuts can see what your interests are. If we know what they are, we can recommend puzzles that might be of interest to you. We often run contests and games for which Stave puzzles are the prizes. Right now, Steve's Challenge and Holiday Cheer are two examples. You can get to them off of the Main page of the site. Happy New Year! June Herold
