We love our puzzles Cheryl! I gave my kids 'Peaceable Kingdom' and 'Jonah and the Whale' for Christmas, and they were just right in terms of difficulty. When the extended family was around we brought out the teasers and people were amazed at how lon…

Our puzzles arrived!

I really didn't think we'd get our puzzles in time for Christmas, but they came! Thanks to all the wonderful folks at Stave for making that happen. We have been happily piecing them together whenever there's a bit of a lull in the activity. I ordered 'We Believe' and we put it together Christmas eve, so much fun. I love all the little touches and the art work is beautiful.

Patti,
I will be interested to see what you think of them too. Plus, I wonder how you will describe the traditional vs. the teasers. As for advice, I would only say to savor the process and marvel at the ingenuity. When you feel blocked, go do something else and let your mind wander. When you come back you might just 'see' the trick or another approach. If you get really, really stumped you can ask for advice here or look up a picture of a completed puzzle. A word of caution on that though: It is a LOT more fun to come up with the solution yourself, even if it takes days to get a breakthrough.

Welcome Patty. I thank you for making me the second-to-newest newbie instead of the newest one. Looking forward to seeing your comments after you work your puzzles.
