Nutcracker Review

Let's not forget the back catalog boffins.

I had the opportunity to puzzle Nutcracker Finale recently, a classic teaser puzzle:



This is truly a classic Stave teaser with artwork by Susan Greenleaf. Themed to the classic "Nutcracker Suite", the puzzle presents a stave replete with proscenium and the first row of the audience together with a tumbling cavity to hold the cast of assorted sugar plum fairies, toy soldiers, rat kings, elves, christmas trees and more.

The artwork is well done and the audience watching the play is an excellent touch. The pieces fit together in that satisfying Stave "you know it's right even though they just touch or have a gap" sort of way and also are quite varied. Putting it together brought back memories of performances I've seen.

Great job and a very enjoyable puzzle.
