Monkey Mayhem is a delightful, colorful three sword puzzle. It's advertised at 75 pieces, mine came in at 81 of which about half are monkeys (yea! more fun trying to figure out the inside!!) Normally, I would start with the Stave clown -- not here though as our treacherous Chief Tormentor found a way to waylay those plans. So, off to route two trying to get my barrel well assembled. The stars must have been aligned correctly for me (why, then, didn't I play the lottery?) as a few monkeys quickly found their home. I must admit that the Chief Tormentor, as may be his liking, nearly stumped me with the final piece. I completed the whole puzzle and had one monkey remaining -- and it took a few minutes to figure out where he went. In terms of difficulty, I found this puzzle much easier than Pheasantly Pleasing and not as challenging as Turtle Soup. Style, color, theme, and difficulty all made this puzzle quite a joy to assemble.
