Puzzle Who's In Charge
Artist Susan Greenleaf
Type Teaser
Catalog Picture

This new, 2008 teaser was named with the help of this community. I was lucky enough to get a chance to puzzle it and enjoyed it very much. It was the first teaser I've done in a long time where I was NOT able to solve it "trivially" using my standard teaser technique of cavity first, then just throw in the tumblers. (Tough Act to Follow had elements of this but the multiple cavities made it different) I ended up having almost half of the insides done before I finished the cape.

The artwork is gorgeous and the pieces are well cut and well fit. If I had to pick only one 2008 teaser (of the ones I've bought/puzzled) to order I would be hard pressed to pick between this and Tough Act to Follow (Rev) for my tastes. Though I probably would go with Tough Act because of the higher piece count and multiple-cavity challenge.

Total puzzling time for me was around 30-60 minutes. Looking back over posts people have asked for this in reviews, if I remember I put it down, if I've forgotten I omit it. Again, don't go too much by my specific times since your time may vary quite a bit.
