New Stave Line of Business

I would like to openly propose a new line of business for Stave: baked goods!

So if you followed the blog post & thread about my profligate spending on puzzles here, you'll know that two of the Stave gang, Jennifer and Paula were reassuring me that if I went broke I could count on food...

...anyhow, Friday AM, I show up at work and there is a UPS package from Stave. I'm thinking goody...

Tough Act to Follow [New 2008 design]

or

True Romance

had arrived.

Nope, inside is a big green stave box with a note from my gal Tammy, inside about a dozen of the best ginger snap cookies ever.

They were moist, tasty, mmmm, good. I'm told Tammy's husband was very happy with this outcome and she also was successful in hiding the cookies from the gang so I got them instead of a box full of crumbs. [PS: Attempts by photographers to capture the cookies we unsuccessful as they were quickly devoured by my house. Including one of my kittens who managed to get a hold of one, don't ask. She loved it and they say cats don't like carbs.]

Many thanks to the whole gang for helping keep me fed.

Steve should really consider a little add on, with your puzzle for $20 you can get fresh cookies or something? Think about it? [Meanwhile, the cookies were worth every penny of shipping.]

Meanwhile, my financial pain point will come in January 09 when my Treasure Island limited edition arrives. Tammy think I can get 2 dozen cookies with that?

Erik, So glad to hear that you loved the cookies. Tammy LOVED making them :-)
(no, she did not bring any for us) and I LOVED volunteering her time :-)

You know that people on deserted islands have to be resourceful no matter how much Treasure they find. So, starting in January it looks like you'll have to stick to coconut milk. Perhaps you'll find a way off that island. Ahoy Matey! AAArrrrggghhhh!

Erik, those Gingersnap cookies are usually for me. I'm not so sure I like you anymore;) I guess I won't mention the fact that Tammy's raisin filled cookies are equally as yummy!!
