StavePuzzleNuts.com

Hello fellow Puzzlenuts,
Jennifer from Stave, here. I'm wondering if any of you wild and crazy folks out there can help me out. I'm not sure where the best place is to post this so I'll try it here. Gee, it's not really puzzle related so maybe I shouldn't even be putting it on the site. I am going to be starting my own blog on our site but it's not quite ready yet so I can't do it there. Here's what I need... I'm going to Vegas in late October/early November with 2 girlfriends and we are trying to figure out a list of some of the "must-do's." Do any of you have any suggestions? I'm already saving my quarters to drop in the slots but my friends aren't much on gambling. We have tickets to see Elton John and we plan on seeing the fountain show at the Bellagio. (From the top of the 'Eiffel Tower' if we can coordinate the timing.) We found a great sounding Gospel brunch at the House of Blues and we want to find someplace really great for a special dinner. Any suggestions? What about other things we shouldn't miss? We're only there a few days so we want to make the most of it. I do plan on some time reading by the pool, though. I love to veg! Technically I shouldn't be taking any time off at that time of year but I figure I've been here too long for Steve to fire me ;) He's knows I'll work my butt off when I get back to make up for it. And if he gives me a hard time I'll ask you guys to stick up for me. So if you have some great ideas please let me know! Thanks, pals!

First off... Wear very comfortable walking shoes.

Check out the Venetian hotel and take a ride on a gondola or at least stroll through the shoppes and see the opera singers in the gondolas

Best of the free shows

Fountains of Bellagio
tour of the Botanical Conservatory at the Bellagio
Fremont Street Experience
Masquerade Show in the Sky - Rio
Volcano/White Tigers - Mirage
Lion Habitat - MGM

My $0.02 is that walking along the strip is just fun for people watching in and of itself. I would say for shows the Cirque show 'O' at the Bellagio is not to be missed.

Thank you, thank you! I am starting a list of the possibilities and these are all great. I love people watching so am looking forward to that and the list of Freebies is great! We plan on having as much fun as we can but don't want to break the bank. We want to save some money for the next girls trip in the Spring!! Love those husbands and kids but it sure is great to get away with friends!!
Keep the suggestions coming!
