Limited Edition

My wife and I have been looking at limited editions for a while now. There is no doubt that she is a lot smarter than me. What our concern is that we will purchase one that she will breeze through or complete in afew days and I don’t feel as if I got the best value for my money. So does any one know of a puzzle that will trip up a puzzler like her? It can be new or old. Thank you.

Along with The Quest which is no longer available, I believe that the most difficult Limited Edition would be
Knight At Stavely Castle. Guaranteed to give your wife a run for her money! For other opinions on this puzzle you might
want to ask Noel Ashman or Ron Zezima who have also struggled. And when you finally finish you'll stare at it
in amazement for days; it really is that beautiful.
A non LE puzzle that Steve considers his toughest would be Fred And Ginger. Another fine choice along these lines
would be his enchanting octopus Olivia. Hope this helps.

Anthony,

KaSC is indeed a tricky LE. It featured in an edition of Cigar Aficionado back in 1997 (there is a copy of the article on the Stave wesite). Riccardo (another puzzle nut) was given a copy to complete while the article's author watched on. According to the article, Riccardo was only the second to complete the puzzle. There are some pictures of KaSC - incorrectly assembled on my home page.

Cheers,

Noel
