What's your favorite puzzle and why?
right now I'm tied between "Aged to Perfection" and "Pull My Strings"
"Aged to Perfection" is the perfect short term (1-2 hours) teaser puzzle that never seems to get any easier with time. It's a great design that feels fresh each time since I can't seem to remember where any of the teaser pieces go.
"Pull My Strings" is my largest and most difficult so far. Once you get the border done - you're like, "Oh, crap. Now what?" The complete work is so unique and beautiful!

What got you into Stave Puzzles?
I saw the TV coverage and ordered one for my Mom as a gift. After seeing that one, I was hooked! Naturally, I haven't touched a cheap cardboard puzzle since. Does that make me a "puzzle snob"?
Tips for solving Stave Puzzles: Want to share?
Free up your schedule, cancel any appointments, and allow yourself to walk away for a bit if you get stuck. Hitting the "reset" button on your brain works wonders when it's in a jam.
About me: Interests, fave books and music etc
I'm a music teacher and pianist with really erratic tastes in music. Some days, nothing beats a Mahler symphony. Other days its Jazz or Hard Rock. Just about everything. I'm a huge video game and movie buff and usually stick to fiction for reading.

HI Adam, Have your friend send us some color copies of his work and we'll get back to him. We are always on the lookout for new artists, particularly the illustrator-style ones. Glad to hear you've been 'tormented' by 'Pull My Strings', a VERY challenging one. Steve

Hi Bad Larry. Welcome to www.stavepuzzlenuts.com. Handel This was one of the first Staves I did to and remains one of my all time faves for the same reason. I grew up in a house of classical musicians. So glad you've joined us. Thanks, too, for filling out your profile so thoroughly. You have Tropical Punch on your wish list. It's the prize for a contest going on right now. See the promotion for Steve's Challenge, a contest promoted off the main page of this site. There's a good chance you could win because few people have entered. Take a look at it. Any questions, shootem' my way or post in the Forum. Best wishes, June
