Hi Ted,
Wow, The Govenors Procession by Roderick Mackenzie is a Traditional puzzle before my time and I've been with Stave for almost 15 years now. You are so right about learning about art through our mailings, I can definitely see that considering how much art we license here. And I really love choosing all those wonderful images!!!
Have a great weekend Ted,
Susan
Ted,
Sorry to bother you, but what puzzle took 7 years? I see you have 3 little pigs. I wanted to order it for my wife because she believes she would get it on the first try. But the stave artist has since died. So jennifer has been looking for the line art for me and she is trying to see what she can do for me. How did you like it?

Hi Ted. I left this comment on Riccardo's comment wall about small pieces and difficulty level -- a discussion you guys are having or starting to have. Wondering if we should move it to the Forum and get more people talking? Whaddya think? ....Meanwhile, here's the comment I left Ted: Hi Riccardo....Seems you and Ted are talking about a specific puzzle. But I'd like to jump in here with a few comments on the difficultly level of smaller pieces. There's a fellow in the backwoods of Wisconsin who crafts puzzles under the name www.PuzzleMonk.com
I ordered two puzzles from Syd, the monk himself, in the first half of this year and was impressed with the difficulty level of his work. The pieces are miniscule by Stave standards. The quality of the artwork/prints was ok, not up to Stave standards. He only does a few puzzles a year and sells them on ebay. You have to create a search agent on ebay to be notified of when he posts new puzzles. I had Syd do a custom piece for me. I enjoyed working with him, but I much prefer doing custom work with Stave. You might want to try one of Syd's puzzles because of the tiny pieces. I share it with another loyal Stave Puzzle Nut and she also found it difficult. I occassionally take excursions out of Staveland to check out other puzzle makers. And the experience never fails to reinforce the mastery, the literacy of the Stave experience.
Ted.....you dare not give the puzzle away with your pictures!!!! I will have the Stave mafia after you if you do. Hehe!!! Riccardo

Hi Ted,
Of COURSE I remember you. Geez, Ted, I think 7 years on one puzzle qualifies as tedium to most normal sane people. But, we recognize that Stave has always attracted eccentrics like you and that's what makes it so much FUN!
Glad you're still puzzling,
Carol

Hi Ted. No I didn't know that there's something particularly unique in Hot Diggity Dogs. Thanks for hinting. My baited breath pants even harder now! Re silhouettes...absolutely. Click on the Photos tab in the navigation bar atop any page on the web site. Then, click on Albums. Once on the Albums page you'll see the gallery of silhouettes. Follow the directions there for use. It's a little clugely unfortunately. In the future we'll be able to click on an image and make it our profile icon effortlessly. But, that's in the future. Just follow the steps. If you have trouble, give a holler and I'll walk you through it ....live by phone if necessary! Best wishes, June
