Hi Jim! Glad to see you've joined StavePuzzleNuts.com. Don't know if you know this, but the first jigsaw puzzles ever made were of maps and they were for teaching students geography! The oldest known wooden jigsaw puzzle is at the British Museum in London! Stave's puzzles are innovations unto themselves. The company has developed patented ways of cutting pieces and also invented new genres of wooden jigsaw puzzles known as Tricks and Teasers. Steve Richardson the owner of the company, aka Chief Tormentor, is working on a new digital puzzle that Nuts in this network have been testing. You might find it interesting. There's a promotion for trying the prototype atop the right column of the screen you're currently on. Give it whirl!!!!!! There are many people in our network that don't yet own Stave puzzles. They're fans. We often run contest and games on the site for which Stave puzzles are the prizes. And those events are a great way to get your first Stave!!!! See you back in the real world.....but still in the ether.....June
